Since a family member wanted to keep theres we managed so source on for £5 barging. Owner said it powered up so good sign but we need to look further into it.
One thing that will be needed which is needed on all these old consoles is the capacitors replaced. These will be coming from Retrosix as he’s a good uk supplier and I’ll be using him for a few other parts for others
So, on arrival, still nothing test, but it was time to photograph what we have

So we know it’s a NES-CPU-11 and according to Consolemods
NES-CPU-11 (1990-1993)
Introduced during 1990, the NES-CPU-11 was the final board revision for the front loader. While mostly similar to the CPU-10, this board has more safeguards included against cartridges attempting to circumvent the lockout chip; two 1k ohm series resistors and two clamp diodes were added to the data lines on the CIC chip, which help prevent the use of “stun” circuits like those found in Camerica or Color Dreams/Wisdom Tree cartridges.

“NES-001 (PCB rev. -10 and -11)” (1987-1993)
While the video quality and reliability issues have not returned, these consoles have more safeguards included against cartridges attempting to circumvent the lockout chip.
