So just before the Christmas I removed the barrel jack to being a USB-C CleanPower from retrosix. Quite an easy replacement except removing the barrel connector itself. Lucky I have a desolder gun which made it a little easier.
Unfortunately no pictures of that work but last night started the DeCapping the board. Very long and tedious process which again desolder gun came unto play.
Just need to remember to add fresh solder first then desolder. 1 pad 44 came off but following the schematic it may be fine. Multimeter test when we grt it put back together tonight.

I spoke with luke from RetroSix regarding the voltage regulators and because we bridge them they aint used.
I have asked wither just to remove them since we’re already in there just waiting on responce.
